Yeah, I am going to go ahead and brag. Here is a selection of recent comments:
Letter of recommendation request;
I took COMM 480 Research Methods in Communication Studies in the Fall OL 1 semester in which I earned an A. Earlier that year, I had taken COMM 495 Senior Seminar in Communication Studies, with you as well. The course was challenging but I really enjoyed your teaching style so I made sure you were teaching my next course.
Thank you note:
I wanted to thank you for being one of the toughest, yet most caring Professor. There were times in your class were I felt lost, but with your guidance I felt I was back on track. Despite your heads up email warning us about only taking one class, I took a second class because I was eager to finish my degree by May. It was definitely the wildest fun house ride ever and I am thankful I went through it and came out alive.
I did homework while attending weddings in Omaha, and Las Vegas. I took my laptop everywhere with me, and some of my friends jokingly called it my child. I was dedicated to work wherever I went, and school was a priority no matter where I was. I finished my last coursework and assignments the morning I visited the Grand Canyon. When we arrived at the South Rim, I was overwhelmed with emotions, feeling tired yet happy and accomplished.
This class has challenged me in so many levels. I started the class not believing I could finish it because it was so demanding but ended the class with my head held high and proud of the achievements I had made.
Thank you note:
Thank you so much for everything Dr. Rodgers!!! I absolutely LOVED this class! It seems like only yesterday when I joked about my brain wanting to explode from all the pressure (haha). I will certainly keep in touch; I may need you for future reference purposes and/or advice.
